Abstract

This document explains how to download electronic files for version 7.6.1.1 of IBM Control Desk, IBM Control Desk for Service Providers, and IBM Control Desk for Managed Service Providers.

A list of the fixes to the product is included in the readme file that is provided with this release. 

Prerequisites



Installation Instructions

From the Fix Central website, download the files that are appropriate for your operating system to a temporary location on the IBM Control Desk administrative workstation.

Review the following tables to determine the correct files for your edition of the product and your platform. Select the table that corresponds to your edition of the product. Then find your platform in the appropriate table and download the files listed for your platform/component.

Complete the following steps to download the fix pack:
  1. Go to http://www.ibm.com/support/fixcentral/ and sign in.
  2. Click Find Product.
  3. In the Product selector field, specify Control Desk.
  4. For Installed Version, select 7.6.1.
  5. Select the appropriate platform and click Continue.
  6. Select Browse for Fixes and click Continue.
  7. Select the 7.6.1.1 fix pack and click Continue.
  8. Follow the instructions on Fix Central to download the files for your platform.
  9. Extract the fix pack files and open the readme file for step-by-step instructions for installing all of the components of the fix pack. You can also view a list of issues that the fix pack resolves.
