Summary

There are multiple vulnerabiltities in the IBM® SDK Java™ Technology Edition that is shipped with IBM WebSphere Application Server. These issues were disclosed in the IBM Java SDK updates in April 2019. These may affect some configurations of IBM WebSphere Application Server Traditional, IBM WebSphere Application Server Liberty and IBM WebSphere Application Server Hypervisor Edition.

Remediation/Fixes

To patch an existing service instance refer to the  IBM WebSphere Application Server security bulletin listed below:

Alternatively, delete the vulnerable service instance and create a new instance.
