Prerequisites for IBM® Datacap Version 9.1.4, Interim Fix 005

The official statements for hardware and software support for IBM® Datacap are provided as part of the hardware and software requirements for IBM® Datacap Version 9.1.4. Before you install this fix, ensure that you installed IBM® Datacap Version 9.1.4. Also ensure that you have 5GB of free space available.

Note: Ensure that you have installed IBM Content Navigator version 3.0.4, before you install Datacap V9.1.4. IF 005.

Installing IBM® Datacap 9.1.4, Interim Fix 005

To install the IBM® Datacap 9.1.4, Interim Fix 005, use the following procedure:

Procedure

  1. Download the 914 iFix 005 package from  Fix Central.
  2. Extract the 914 iFix 005 package, and run the Update.exe file.

Access the IBM Content Navigator administration tool and update the JAR file path to use the latest DatacapWebPlugin JAR file. For more information, refer to the technote.

Enhancement:

As a part of this interim fix, the OCR/A Engine files were updated to improve performance times when running the action OCR_A.Recognize () in a task through Rulerunner server services.  Additionally, the updated OCR/A Engine files also improved table detection when SingleLinePerCell recognition engine setting is enabled.
