APM V8.1.4.0.20 May 2023 08.23.05.00
Fixed the following vulnerability issue:
  • apache-commons-codec-info-disc (177835): Apache Commons Codec could allow a remote attacker to obtain sensitive information, caused by the improper validation of input. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability using a method call to obtain sensitive information.
APM V8.1.4.0.19 November 2022 08.22.10.00 Added support for Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 9.0 on x86_64 Operating System
CP4MCM 2.3.0.2 August 2022 08.22.07.00 Added support for Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 9.0 on x86_64 Operating System
APM V8.1.4.0.18 April 2022 08.22.04.00 Added support for Windows Server 2022 Operating System (Datacenter and Standard editions).
APM V8.1.4.0.17 October 2021 08.20.10.00 Implemented framework changes to support Microsoft Visual C++ 2013 libraries.
APM V8.1.4.0.13 Sept 2020 08.20.09.00
  • Retry count enhancement :
In the event of connection failure, the agent would continuously attempt connection to data source without limit every 30 seconds. Such agent behavior remains even though user has removed the environment variable KNU_DATA_PROVIDER_CONNECTION_RETRY_COUNT or set it to 0. To have a limited number of connection attempts, the environment variable KNU_DATA_PROVIDER_CONNECTION_RETRY_COUNT must be set to a valid non-zero value. Agent will log an entry in the data provider log if agent is configured to run with default behavior, i.e KNU_DATA_PROVIDER_CONNECTION_RETRY_COUNT=0. Log message :#########There is no retry count configured, that means in case of connection failure agent will keep attempting connection with data source for indefinite time every after 30 seconds. To limit it you can set the environment variable KNU_DATA_PROVIDER_CONNECTION_RETRY_COUNT to desired threshold. For example, Setting it to 3 indicates agent will attempt to connect thrice;later entire data collection will get stopped and to resume monitoring manual agent restart is required.#######
  • KNU_API_SERVICES_PORT: A new configuration field is added to agent configuration panel of OCUM API Services tab. It was available in the environment variable file of earlier releases, but it is deleted now. User can set the desired port in configuration panel.
  • Defect(186538) is fixed to address the issue when API Services configuration is not available to agent. With this fix, when API Services is not configured, agent is able to fetch the storage objects Disks, Storage-VMs and Qtrees.
APM V8.1.4.0.7 March 2019 08.19.03.00
  • Updated online help for multiline chart widget ‘Network Sent/Receive Errors’.
  • Queries updated to skip the unavailable (-1) values for multiline and single line chart widgets.
APM V8.1.4.0.6 December 2018 07.20.09.00
  • Search box added on the Event Details page that filters event data based on search criteria.
  • Details page added for LUNs.
  • User can check the details of related device mapped to each storage object on the Details page.
APM V8.1.4.0.5 September 2018 07.20.08.00
  • The Overall Events Summary widget was added to the NetApp Storage Instance page. It displays the cumulative count of events. View all events across the environment, irrespective of severity or object by clicking the status bar represented as Total Events.
  • An Event Status column is added in every objects table, which shows event status prioritized based on time and then the level of severity.
  • The NetApp Storage Instance page now displays Events Summary table rather than a chart.
  • The Aggregate Details page is updated to display the related devices that are associated with the selected aggregate.
APM V8.1.4.0.4 July 2018 07.20.07.00
  • The new Component page is added to display the details of agent connection state whether the data provider is up or down, along with IP address of monitored data sources. The individual status bar represents the number of nodes, aggregates, volumes, and disks that are in critical, normal, warning, or unknown state.
  • The new NetApp Storage Instance page is added to highlight key properties of clusters, aggregates, volumes, disks, and vServers. It also displays the Events Summary chart with the count of events that are occurred on each available storage entity or object in the environment. For example, if there are 12 volumes that are configured, and each volume has two events with severity as Critical, then the Event Summary chart shows the total count of events that are occurred on all the volumes available in an environment. In this case, the chart shows the bar with 24 critical events against the volume as an entity plotted on the X-axis.
  • The Node Details page is updated to show network port details.
  • The Volume Detail page is updated to display details of the associated snap mirrors and LUNs count for each selected volume.
  • The vServers Details page is updated to display information about network logical interfaces.
