APM V8.1.4.0.21 March 2024 07.30.14.20
Fixed the following issue:
  • CVE-2023-3635: GzipSource does not handle an exception that might be raised when parsing a malformed gzip buffer. This may lead to denial of service of the Okio client when handling a crafted GZIP archive, by using the GzipSource class.
APM V8.1.4.0.20 May 2023 07.30.14.19
  • Added support for RHEL 9 x86_64 Operating System
Fixed the following vulnerability issues:
  • CVE-2022-25647: Google Gson is vulnerable to a denial of service, caused by the deserialization of untrusted data. By using the writeReplace() method, a remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability to cause a denial of service.
  • CVE-2019-0205: Apache Thrift is vulnerable to a denial of service, caused by an error when processing untrusted Thrift payload. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability to cause the application to enter into an infinite loop.
  • CVE-2015-4852: Apache Commons Collections could allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the system, caused by the deserialization of data with Java InvokerTransformer class. By sending specially crafted data, an attacker could exploit this vulnerability to execute arbitrary Java code on the system.
  •  CVE-2015-6420: Apache Commons Collections could allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the system, caused by the deserialization of data with Java InvokerTransformer class. By sending specially crafted data, an attacker could exploit this vulnerability to execute arbitrary Java code on the system.
  • CVE-2017-15708: Apache Synapse could allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the system, caused by a flaw in the Apache Commons Collections. By injecting specially-crafted serialized objects, an attacker could exploit this vulnerability to execute arbitrary code on the system.
  • CVE-2015-7501: Apache Commons Collections could allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the system, caused by the deserialization of data with Java InvokerTransformer class. By sending specially crafted data, an attacker could exploit this vulnerability to execute arbitrary Java code on the system.
  • CVE-2019-13116: MuleSoft Mule runtime could allow a remote attacker to execute    arbitrary code on the system, caused by Java deserialization, related to Apache Commons Collections. By sending a specially-crafted request, an attacker could exploit this vulnerability to execute arbitrary code on the system.

Now you can perform a soft cancel operation on an in-flight request by selecting the request and then clicking Cancel Thread in the In-flight Request widget on this dashboard.
  • All predefined eventing thresholds were refined to provide a better user experience. The enhancements and updates involve the condition that triggers an alert, the sampling interval, and the severity of the threshold.
  • The user interface of the agent is accessible to users with physical disabilities.
  • The configuration process was refined based on customer feedback and technical review to provide a better user experience.
