Abstract
Upgrading to B2bi version 5.2.6.4 is currently not working as expected with Oracle connection string defined in ORACLE_JDBC_URL in sandbox.cfg. We provide a workaround here.

Upgrading to B2bi version 5.2.6.4 is currently not working as expected with Oracle connection string defined in ORACLE_JDBC_URL in sandbox.cfg. To work around the issue, please follow the steps mentioned below.
Pre-Upgrade :
1. Change DB_DATA, ORA_DATA, and YANTRA_DB_DATA to use SID in sandbox.cfg.
1. Change DB_DATA, ORA_DATA, and YANTRA_DB_DATA to use SID in sandbox.cfg.
2. Comment out ORACLE_JDBC_URL in sandbox.cfg. Take a note of ORACLE_JDBC_URL name and value from the sandbox.cfg.
3. Stop the B2Bi, run setupfiles, deployer and start the B2B Integrator and ensure that B2B Integrator can start after we pointed it to use SID.
4. Upgrade B2B Integrator to 5264 and note that installation will be successful.
Post-upgrade:
1. Start B2B Integrator and ensure that with the SID itself can start.
2. Roll back the change made to sandbox.cfg in pre-upgrade instruction.
3. Add the ORACLE_JDBC_URL name and value noted during pre-upgrade to the sandbox.cfg.
4. Download jdbc.properties.zip that contains jdbc.properties.in and jdbc.properties_platform_ifcresources_ext.in from Fix Central. Replace jdbc.properties_platform_ifcresources_ext.in in <B2Bi_Install_Dir>/properties with these new files.
5. Stop B2Bi, run setupfiles, deployer and examine jdbc.properties and jdbc.properties_platform_ifcresources_ext to make sure oraclePool.url, oraclePool_local.url, oraclePool_NoTrans.url, oracleArchivePool.url and oracleUIPool.url have right values.
6. Start B2B Integrator.
