What are the best ways to monitor http and https link urls availability and their performance in terms of response time?

We are currently using IBM Tivoli Monitoring version 6.3 FP7.

If you are using ITM 6.3 infrastructure, and would like to monitor availability and response time of http and https web servers / links, I suggest that you evaluate the following agents, that you can install with your ITM environment:

ITCAM for Transactions v7.4 Internet Services Monitor (ISM) agent
ITCAM for Transactions v7.4 Web Response Time (WRT) agent
