Attachments Added to a Service Request Created by an Email Listener in IBM Maximo Asset Management are in Unexpected Sequence

Problem

An email with multiple attachments is sent to an email listener in IBM Maximo Asset Management. The Service Request is created/modified successfully. The attached files are added, but they are not in the same sequence as the incoming email

Resolving The Problem

The attached files are processed in the sequence presented to the email listener in the mail headers. The email listener is not a true WYSIWYG email client. The mail body is not parsed, so the CID data in the email cannot be used to determine the sequence of the attached files.
