Abstract

This interim fix solves issues mentioned in RTC13445, RTC13446, RTC13447, RTC13448, RTC13451, IJ08318, IJ09184, IJ09634 and IJ10465.

Prerequisites

This interim fix requires the WebGUI V8.1.0 Fix Pack 14 release.

Installation Instructions

The included fix is based on the WebGUI V8.1.0 Fix Pack 14 and should only be used with this release.

The included ZIP file contains modified versions of the following files: 

$JazzSMHOME/profile/installedApps/${jazzsm.was.cell}/isc.ear/OMNIbusWebGUI.war/

client-assets/*

scripts/dt/ibm/tivoli/ncw/
    EventViewerAll.js
    EventViewerAll.js.uncompressed.js
    ev/EventViewer.js
    watchlists/WatchListBuilder.js

WEB-INF/lib/server.jar

where $JazzSMHOME is the root JazzSM installation directory.
and ${jazzsm.was.cell} is the cell name, namely JazzSMNode01Cell.

The steps for installing the fix on a Unix platform are listed below:

1. Stop the JazzSM server
   eg. $JazzSMHOME/profile/bin/stopServer.sh server1
2. Unzip the interim fix file
   eg. unzip Webtop-81014-InterimFix001.zip
3. Execute the install_IF script
   eg. ./install_IF.sh -dash $JazzSMHOME/ui -webgui $WEBGUI_HOME
4. Start the JazzSM server
   eg. $JazzSMHOME/profile/bin/startServer.sh server1

Note: The original files are backed-up to $WEBGUI_HOME/backup
where $WEBGUI_HOME is the root OMNIbus Web GUI installation directory.

 

Uninstallation Instructions

1. Move to the backup directory
   eg. cd $WEBGUI_HOME/backup
2. Execute the install_IF script
   eg. ./uninstall_IF.sh -dash $JazzSMHOME/ui -webgui $WEBGUI_HOME

Short Description:
    CGI tool fails to work with malformed constructed URL.

Short Description:
    An error is displayed whenever a watch list is created which contains one or more field values which are 0 (e.g. Acknowledged = 0).

RTC13447

Short Description:
    SQL tools with queries built from multiple string field values (e.g. $selected_rows.Node) are not automatically quoted, causing the tool to fail.

Short Description:
    Watchlist preview not loading consistently when creating a watch list with an Event Viewer in CURI mode.

RTC13451

Short Description:
    If a view relationship is defined and the event data contains rows with duplicate values for the key column, then the event viewer displays duplicate rows and the rows are not sorted correctly.

Short Description:
    The Netcool AlertSecurityModel is not being enforced when WebGUI right-click tools use ServerSerial instead of Serial in the SQL.

    The Event Viewer quick filter in EDS mode does not filter any events when the event field selected is '' [null] and operator 'Equals' or 'Does not equal' is selected.
