There is a potential code execution vulnerability in OpenID connect in WebSphere Application Server Liberty.
DESCRIPTION: IBM WebSphere Application Server OpenID Connect could allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the system, caused by improper deserialization. By sending a specially-crafted request to the RP service, an attacker could exploit this vulnerability to execute arbitrary code.

This vulnerability affects the following versions and releases of IBM WebSphere Application Server:
The recommended solution is to apply the interim fix, Fix Pack or PTF containing APARs PH03418 for each named product as soon as practical.
For WebSphere Application Server Liberty:
· Upgrade to minimal fix pack levels as required by interim fixes and then apply Interim Fix PH03418
· Apply Fix Pack 22.214.171.124 or later.
