PH03040 resolves the following problem:
ERROR DESCRIPTION:
Fixpack 18.0.0.3 can not be installed on IBM i due to error in the fixpack metadata.
LOCAL FIX:
PROBLEM SUMMARY USERS AFFECTED:
All IBM Installation Manager users of IBM WebSphere Application Server Liberty Web Enablement for IBM i - Install V855 and above
PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
Users are not able to use IBM Installation Manager to install or update the offering IBM WebSphere Application Server Liberty Web Enablement for IBM i to fixpack 18.0.0.3.
RECOMMENDATION:
None
Users will get errors when installing or updating the IBM WebSphere Application Server Liberty Web Enablement for IBM i to fixpack level 18.0.0.3 using IBM Installation Manager.
PROBLEM CONCLUSION:
The IBM WebSphere Application Server Liberty Web Enablement for IBM i offering metadata will be fixed to allow users to install or update to newer fixpack levels. The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in fix pack 18.0.0.4.
