Troubleshooting
Problem
ILMT 9.2 reporting wrong number of processors and in audit snapshot "servername" has "TLM_VM_xxxxx" with the comment "Incomplete Virtualization Hierarchy".
Cause
If ILMT is not able to collect the correct number of processors on an agent it will use the highest number of processors available on the machine.
Diagnosing The Problem
Run audit snapshot and check servername column for servers starting with "tlm_xxxx"
This will be displayed if at any point during the "date range of the report" ILMT was not able to get the correct capacity information. Review the IBM PVU subcapacity report column "Metric Quantity History" to see when report changed.
Run a report using the current date (smaller range). If the current report is correct you can verify when ILMT was able to collect the hardware information.
Review the IBM PVU subcapacity report column "Metric Quantity History" to see when report changed.
Resolving The Problem
Run "Run Capacity Scan and Upload Results" fixlet to problem computers
Please verify you have the latest vm manager tool

after force upload vm manager tool results

run data import
check if servername is displayed correctly on "IBM PVU Subcapacity" report
