Error description

  • 1. The Conditional Reorganization Support Service (CRSS) does
not currently support HALDB multiple partitions. This

    * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the maintenance for this APAR. *
    ****************************************************************
This APAR provides the following new functions:
    1. The Conditional Reorganization Support Service (CRSS)
supports HALDB multiple partitions. If CONDREORG=YES is
specified for HALDB, CRSS diagnoses all the partitions, and
the Smart Reorg utility reorganizes only the partitions that
    require reorganization.

    2. The Smart Reorg utility supports the reorganization of
nonsequential partitions that are specified by PARTITION
    control statement: PARTITION=(PART001,PART005,PART009).

To use the new functions, the related product's APAR is
     required:
     - PI64269 IMS High Performance Unload V1R2 (FMID: H1IN120)

    3. To use the functions related to the Autonomics Director
server of Tools Base by specifying ADXCFGRP=grpname,
a load library of IMS Database Solution Pack or its smaller
    package is required.

This APAR fixes the following problems:
    4. ABENDS0C4 in HPSGTU00 (CSECT:HPSGOAW0, OFFSET:X'0198')
occurred when REORGINPUT=ULDS is specified for HALDB.

    5. DD name is not correct in the following messages:
     BBE0006E OPEN FAILED. DD: ddname , RC=rc
HPSG0101E OPEN FAILED FOR DDNAME: ddname
HPSC3713E OPEN FAILED FOR DDNAME: ddname

    6. The DB Sensor terminates with error BBE3201E for HALDB:
    BBE3201E GETMAIN FAILED. RC=0004, SIZE=xxxxxxxxxx,
    MOD: BBESDBIM, ERROR-ID: SLT AREA
The request size should be reduced.

< This paragraph is added. >
    | For a HALDB, the CRSS diagnoses all partitions or the
    | partitions that the PARTITION control statement specifies.
    | Then the Smart Reorg utility reorganizes only
    | the partitions that require reorganization.
    | If a partition selection exit sequential partitions

    |Partlist
    | Specifies a list of the partition names to be reorganized.
    | The names must be separated by commas and enclosed in

    | into multiple statement as follows:
    | PARTITION=(part1,part2,part3,part4,part5)
    | PARTITION=(part6,part7,part8,part9,part10)
    | The order of partitions to reorganize is based on this
    | list, not on the HALDB partition selection exit routine
    | or the HALDB high key values. You can specify
    | non-sequential partitions.
