  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: This APAR provides the following new    *
  *                      functions for acceleration:             *
  *                      (1) CESU8 support for scalar functions  *
  *                          LENGTH() and CHARACTER_LENGTH().    *
  *                      (2) Support offloading of queries with  *
  *                          system temporal and bitemporal      *
  *                          tables.                             *
  *                      (3) Support offloading of queries       *
  *                          referencing a column declared with  *
  *                          datatype TIMESTAMP(12).             *
  *                      (4) Fix possible incorrect output       *
  *                          for offloaded queries with          *
  *                          static business temporal tables.    *

  * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
  ****************************************************************
  This APAR provides the following new functions for acceleration:
  (1) CESU8 support for scalar functions LENGTH()
      and CHARACTER_LENGTH().
  (2) Support offloading of queries with system temporal and
      bitemporal tables when zparm QUERY_ACCEL_OPTION value 5
      is specified.
      However, when the accelerator does not support
      TIMESTAMP precision 12, truncation will occur. This will
      lead to the truncation of the result set for TIMESTAMP(12)
      to be returned from the accelerator.
  (3) Support offloading of queries referencing columns declared
      as TIMESTAMP(12) when zparm QUERY_ACCEL_OPTION value 6 is
      specified.
      However, when the accelerator does not support
      TIMESTAMP precision 12, truncation will occur. This will
      lead to the truncation of the result set for TIMESTAMP(12)
      to be returned from the accelerator.
  (4) Fix a possible incorrect output problem for offloaded
      queries referencing static business temporal tables
      when FOR BUSINESS_TIME was specified, but the value of
      the CURRENT TEMPORAL BUSINESS_TIME special register is not
      NULL and the BUSTIMESENSITIVE/BUSINESS_TIME SENSITIVE
      bind option is set to YES (which is the default value).
      After the fix, a query which meets the above criteria will
      not be offloaded. Instead, message -4742 with reason code
      18 will be returned.
