  This APAR delivers DB2 for z/OS REORG utility support for
  directive data placement enhancement introduced by DS8870
  microcode level R7.4 using Easy Tier Application API.
  
  The z/OS support for directive data placement will be provided
  to z/OS 1.13, z/OS 2.1 or higher via separate deliverables.
  This DB2 APAR can be applied with or without the z/OS support
  at any time, where REORG would internally determine the Easy
  Tier support and enable the functions automatically without
  any external user actions.

• DB2 REORG logic has been enhanced to support the directive data
  placement capability on Easy Tier DS8870 in order to maintain
  approximate performance level of the reorganized data sets.
