APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Go into SE.1
    Choose two CKFREEZE files
    Daily - SYSAPPL.DAILY.TVT6123.CKFREEZE
    Old CKFREEZE - ZSECURE.CKR211.CKFREEZE

Make the Daily the baseline by using a "C" next to it
I then go into AU.S to generate a report

Choose MVS Extended and Show Differences
I chose zSecure for the Audit Policy (I tried all the others
    with the same result)
    Press enter key
Choose some of the things that you want to compare on (I have
tried selecting all or just one)
    Press enter key
Error message in top right hand corner says "Not Allowed"
PF1 tells me that I have not selected a baseline or main set

Select one FUNCTION=BASE and at least one FUNCTION=MAIN set
    with a security
data base or UNLOAD to show differences. You can use the C
    action command of
SETUP FILES to select a baseline set.

    ****************************************************************
zSecure Audit requires a security database for compare
processing for reports that do not require a security database.
The solution for this APAR provides the ability to perform
compare processing for system specific reports that do not
require a security database without allocating the data sets
containing security data (UNLOAD or live security database).

Problem conclusion

  • zSecure Audit has been modified so that compare processing for
system specific reports that do not require a security database
can be performed without allocation of data sets with the
    security information.
