Error description

  • New Function - Increase maximum number of DiskSubSystems
    definitions in GDPS control block. Current limitation is 64
    entries, this is increased to 128 DiskSubSystems definitions.
    The increase will avoid message GEO873W or GEO874E for
    configurations nearing or exceeding the current limit.

    PRODUCT ENHANCEMENT
    This APAR provides increase of maximum number of DiskSubSystems
    definitions in GDPS control block. Current limitation is 64
    entries. This is increased to 128 DiskSubSystems definitions.
    
    RESTART ACTION
    Refresh LLA
    Recycle GDPS NETVIEW and GEOXCFST address space.
    This APAR affects GDPS control block structure.
    A recycle of GDPS NetView must be done in order to activate the
    fix followed by recycle of GEOXCFST address space.
    
    ACTION REQUIRED
    This PTF updates GDPS Health Check GDPS_Check_DEVICE and
    GDPS_Check_XCF_CDS
