Error description
Querying queue manager status from the web console, using REST API, or using the show qm-status command returns with UNKNOWN for queue managers in High Availability configuration. MQ FDCs generated indicate dspmqstatus failed with resource issues. One or more FDCs indicating pthread_create failing with error EAGAIN followed by FDCs from different MQ components (e.g. xehStartAsySignalMonitor) will be generated. Problem summary
**************************************************************** USERS AFFECTED: Users running MQ appliance version 9.1.0.3 or 9.1.3 or running with the fix for APAR IT27964 Platforms affected: MultiPlatform **************************************************************** PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Querying the qm status failed because the resource limit set for internal MQ process dspmqstatus was insufficient to handle a large number of connections. The precise number of connections will vary with other factors such as general workload and specific activity on each connection, however under lab testing was found to be approximately 1000.
Problem conclusion
