Error description

• The Tivoli Storage Manager BACKUP NODE/NAS command with TOC=YES
  will pin the active log (recovery log) while generating the
  table-of-contents information into a temporary table.  Busy
  servers can experience significant active log growth during
  NDMP backups because of this long running (pinned) transaction.
  
  This behavior can eventually lead to active log exhaustion,
  which can cause the server process to abort.
