Error description
When trying to use CA Certificate(s) for LDAP Authentication to login into the IBM Wave GUI, a copy of the CA Certificate(s) has to be stored within the WAVESRV in order for the WAVESRV to be able to use those certificate(s). In order to use the CA Certificate(s) one would have to specify the path to the CA Certificate(s) in the Manage Parameters - > Login tab panel. If the CA Certificate(s) are located outside of the WAVESRV and one tries to login using LDAP credentials, the login panel will freeze, without giving you an appropriate message.
Local fix
The work around is to store a copy of the CA Certificate(s) on the WAVESRV and update the path in the Manage Parameters -> Login panel to point to the new location.
Problem summary
CA Certificate needs to be located on the Wave Server.
Problem conclusion
Wave Administrative guide updated to state that the CA Certificate needs to be located within the Wave Server for the use of the TLS connection.
Temporary fix
