EMM 2nd Annual Holiday Report

The 2011 holiday season was a bonanza for online retailers. Overall online sales volume was up 15.6 percent in November 2011 compared to the year earlier, and up 7.5 percent for December, as more consumers chose to relax with a cup of hot cappuccino and shop from their laptops or mobile devices rather than fight traffic to get to a brick-and- mortar store.
