Women in Tech - Machine Learning & Cognos Analytics Workshop

Hands-on workshops on AI and Machine Learning for Ryerson University, Ted Rogers School of Management using Watson Studio



IBM Centre for Advanced Studies and IBM Machine Learning Hub were partnering with Ryerson Women in Leadership (RWIL), and Information Technology Management Students' Association (ITMSA) to have a workshop about IBM Watson Studio and its ability for solving business problems while working with data. This event consisted of three hands-on workshops using Modeler Flow: With SPSS Modeler flows in Watson Studio to predict customer churn, AutoAI Experiment in predicting housing prices in Boston and Cognos Analytics to show the data discovery capabilities to visually explore and interact with data. Students also were introduced to AI workflow in a real life problem, different machine learning algorithm, and a use case of IBM Cognos Analytics in business industry
