A: Confirmation emails will be sent out based on open seats in a track. Some registrants may receive a "pended" notice until an available seat can be confirmed. Please do not make any travel arrangements before you receive an official confirmation notice with more details. Your credit card will NOT be charged until after you are officially confirmed.
Q: When will my credit card be charged for the registration fee?
A: Your credit card will be charged after you are officially confirmed for the class - usually within 5 business days. You will receive a receipt via email when your card is actually charged.

Q: What does my conference fee cover?
A: Your conference fee covers:
- Attendance in your confirmed Master Skills track.
- Breakfast and lunch Monday through Friday at the hotel.
- Afternoon break/snack daily.
- Reception Monday evening. Additional networking opportunities/receptions will be announced as we get closer to the event.

- The following refund/substitution policy will be used:
- Cancellations on or before 22- October-2018 , there will be a full refund less €50 administrative fee.
- Cancellations on or after 23- October-2018 , or no-show to the event -- there will be no refund.

Q: Do I have to stay at the conference hotel?
A: No, the hotel room block at the Hilton London Metropole is set up as a convenience so you can stay on property to take advantage of all the day and evening activities and not have to worry about getting back to another hotel. Attendees are responsible for making all their own travel/hotel arrangements.
Q: I am an International Traveler. Can you help me with an invitation letter so I can get my visa?
A: Yes, please download the following document with instructions on how to request a visa invitation letter. We recommend you start this process as soon as possible as the visa process for your country may take several weeks to process after you obtain the invitation letter.
Q: Can I sign up for more than one track?
A: Each track is set up to be a continuous deep-dive on one security topic. To get full advantage of the training, attendees may select one track only for the week.
Q: Can I come for just one day?
A: No, there are no single day options. Attendees will get the most out of their track by attending the entire week.
Q: Do I need special identification to attend sessions?
A: All attendees will be provided with a name badge/colored lanyard when they check-in on first day. These should be worn and visible throughout the class and receptions.
Q: Can we get CE credits? Certification?
A: Participants will have the opportunity to earn an IBM Master Skills digital credential, part of the IBM Digital Badge program. IBM credentials are recognized, respected and valued globally in the IT industry. The IBM Digital Badge program enables you to easily and quickly share verified proof of your achievement both within IBM and externally. Where applicable, your IBM credentials are represented by a digital image that contains verified metadata describing your qualifications and the rigorous process necessary to earn them. We do not offer CE credits or other certifications.
Q: Do I need to bring a laptop?
A: To participate in labs, you will need to bring a laptop with an up-to-date browser.

A: Yes, each track will include option to do hands-on labs either during or outside of class

Business Partners with available PartnerWorld Class vouchers can use these vouchers to register for the IBM Security Master Skills University - London. PartnerWorld vouchers offer a 50% discount off the tuition. To register with a PartnerWorld class voucher, enter the code “BPVOUCH” in the promo code field of the Payment section. You will then be prompted to enter your 8-digit PartnerWorld voucher number. You will also need to enter your credit card information to cover remainder of registration fee. Once your voucher number has been validated and your registration is confirmed, you will receive a 50% discount on the tuition for this event. Your credit card will not be charged until you are actually confirmed. If there is an issue with your voucher number, you will be notified via email and given opportunity to withdraw, or agree to be charged for full conference tuition.

2. What discount do I receive with a PartnerWorld class
PartnerWorld class vouchers offer a 50% discount off the published tuition for select IBM events. For the Security Master Skills University, your PartnerWorld event/class voucher will cover 247.50 EURO of the total tuition (495 EURO).
3. How do I know if my firm has a valid PartnerWorld
Existing PartnerWorld members received their PartnerWorld program level vouchers in January 2018. Newly eligible PartnerWorld members and Business Partners who move up a program level will receive their vouchers in the first month following the quarter in which they achieved their entitlement. PartnerWorld Program vouchers are emailed to the Primary Relationship Contact (PRC) identified in your company's PartnerWorld Profile. 5. How long will it take to validate my voucher?
After you submit your registration with voucher number, you will receive a “Pending payment” email. IBM will then validate the voucher number to ensure that it is available for use. Your registration will remain pending until the voucher is validated (usually 3-5 business days) AND until a seat can be confirmed in your selected track. Once you are officially Confirmed, you will be charged 50% of the tuition for the Security Master Skills University event. Please do not make any travel arrangements until you have receive an official confirmation email.
