In the IBM Booth 3.H30 in Hall 3, participants had the opportunity to meet with experts and see demonstrations designed to help you build smarter networks to optimize and monetize next-generation networks, create and deliver smarter services to rapidly generate new revenue and increase differentiation, personalize customer engagements to maximize value with a compelling marketing, shopping and service experience, transform operations to achieve business and service excellence, and explore mobile enterprise and our comprehensive capabilities from mobile apps development and testing to mobile strategy and services. We also invited you to learn how we can help you take advantage of offerings from IBM Watson and IBM Pure Systems, and cloud & big data and analytics technologies to expand your business into new markets.

In Hall 3 in the GSMA Connected City, IBM and Deutsche Telekom showcased M2M solutions that can help forward-thinking cities drive sustainable growth and improve the quality of life for their citizens.

Between Halls 7 & 8, attendees had the opportunity to engage with the IBM Graffiti Wall and give their insights into cloud and mobile technologies.

In Hall 8 on Tuesday afternoon over 300 MWC attendees joined IBM MobileFirst for an engaging and interactive conference to learn how to build a mobile enterprise agenda to be first in their industries. Distinguished analyst Maribel Lopez gave insights on the current mobile landscape and how to best position onself for the mobile technology advancements and disruptors that she believes lie ahead. IBM MobileFirst customers Ericsson and Irish Water gave compelling testimonies on implementing mobile inside their organizations and how it ultimately helped them streamline processes and drive ROI. IBM executives took the audience through the latest enhancements to the IBM MobileFirst portfolio including a deep-dive into the recent Fiberlink acquisition and a new mobile cloud service offering for mobile developers. The afternoon highlight included an interactive forum of live demos, networking activities, and 1-on-1 quick meetings with executives that attendees thoroughly enjoyed while sipping a variety of cocktails and sampling tapas.

AT&T and IBM Security Offering
IBM and AT&T announced a combined security offering that blends technology and services from each company to address the emerging challenges of securing cloud and network infrastructures. Clients will benefit from cloud delivered security services, integrated threat monitoring and advanced security intelligence generated through the combination of network data from AT&T and security monitoring data and analytics from IBM. IBM transforms customer experience at Tesco
IBM and Tesco announced a collaboration to help Tesco arrange products on store shelves according to display plans, creating a better shopping experience for its customers. Scientists at IBM’s Research lab in Haifa, Israel developed a mobile application that allows Tesco employees to capture the status of store shelves in real-time on a mobile device and compare current displays with planned arrangements to quickly and easily see what’s missing and where.
