Effective September 1, 1998, AS/400 feature number 0420 to preload J. D. Edwards is withdrawn from marketing. Customers who order the custom server with J. D. Edwards should include AS/400 feature number 0421, Validate JDE-No Preload, and follow local practices to load their AS/400 (R) with the J. D. Edwards products. IBM and J. D. Edwards are developing plans to provide a new J. D. Edwards preload option to be announced worldwide at a later time.
