Description

Top rule

Driverless AI is a high-performance, GPU-enabled software application for the rapid development and deployment of advanced predictive analytics models. It fully automates some of the most challenging and productive tasks in data science, such as feature engineering, model tuning, model ensemble, model interpretation, report generation, and production deployment. Driverless AI uses machine learning interpretability to create easy-to-follow visualization and explanations of models, which are especially useful in regulated industries.

Driverless AI reads tabular data from plain text sources and can target common regression algorithms and binomial classification and multinomial classification applications, including loss given default, probability of default, customer churn, campaign response, fraud detection, anti-money laundering, and predictive asset maintenance models. Driverless AI is designed to avoid common mistakes such as underfitting or overfitting, data leakage, or improper model validation, which are some of the hardest challenges in data science.

For a more comprehensive description of Driverless AI, see the H2O.ai website.

Product positioning

Top rule

Driverless AI is a good starting point for machine learning. It helps you increase productivity and reduce dependency on data scientists for machine learning. It is also optimized for Power Systems for accelerated data ingest, feature engineering, and training times. With explainability, Driverless AI is ideal for regulated industries.

As clients embark on their AI journeys, they typically start off with machine learning before undertaking deep learning projects. Driverless AI facilitates the on-boarding for machine learning and complements the deep learning-based IBM PowerAI portfolio, which is the natural growth path for clients' evolution into deep learning.

Across industries and verticals, Driverless AI takes data sets and creates grandmaster-level machine learning pipelines with minimal human input required. It also produces stand-alone scoring pipelines for Java™ , Python, R, and C++ for low-latency inference in production, without any approximations.

Statement of good security practices

Top rule

IT system security involves protecting systems and information through intrusion prevention, detection, and response to improper access from within and outside your enterprise. Improper access can result in information being altered, destroyed, or misappropriated or can result in misuse of your systems to attack others. Without a comprehensive approach to security, no IT system or product should be considered completely secure and no single product or security measure can be completely effective in preventing improper access. IBM systems and products are designed to be part of a regulatory compliant, comprehensive security approach, which will necessarily involve additional operational procedures, and may require other systems, products, or services to be most effective.

Important: IBM does not warrant that any systems, products, or services are immune from, or will make your enterprise immune from, the malicious or illegal conduct of any party.
