Overview

Top rule

Resiliency Orchestration can automate the workflow of your Disaster Recovery (DR) environment for a more predictable, simplified recovery, and operation that runs continuously. This leads to reduced risk, cost, and testing time. It enables complete DR lifecycle management and now Cyber Incident Recovery orchestration for complex, hybrid infrastructures that include traditional IT and private and public clouds.

Resiliency Orchestration V7.3.0 adds the following capabilities:

  • Cyber Incident Recovery orchestration that enables organizations to detect platform configuration changes and enables administrators to accept or reject a change. More importantly, a master copy of the configuration is saved that can be used for recovery, when required.
  • Rapid recovery from cyber attacks.

These capabilities can minimize costs by helping to limit the impact of cyber attacks during early stages and enable organizations to quickly recover after these attacks have occurred.

Resiliency Orchestration can provide IT benefits that include:

  • Reduction in DR exercise time
  • Reduction in dependency on experts
  • Real-time monitoring by using an integrated dash board view
  • One-click failover and recovery
  • Extensive, enterprise interoperability to support heterogeneous environments
  • Comprehensive disaster recovery audit and compliance reports
  • Lower total cost of ownership and faster return on investment realization

Statement of good security practices

Top rule

IT system security involves protecting systems and information through intrusion prevention, detection, and response to improper access from within and outside your enterprise. Improper access can result in information being altered, destroyed, or misappropriated or can result in misuse of your systems to attack others. Without a comprehensive approach to security, no IT system or product should be considered completely secure and no single product or security measure can be completely effective in preventing improper access. IBM systems and products are designed to be part of a regulatory compliant, comprehensive security approach, which will necessarily involve additional operational procedures, and may require other systems, products, or services to be most effective.

Important: IBM does not warrant that any systems, products, or services are immune from, or will make your enterprise immune from, the malicious or illegal conduct of any party.
