Overview
Bottom rule

Watson™ Content Hub is a flexible, engaging, cloud-based cognitive content management system that helps marketers and merchandisers promote brand consistency across all customer interactions.

Watson Content Hub introduces a new product structure that includes renaming previously announced part numbers, and introduces new edition names and capabilities. The new structure for Watson Content Hub:

  • IBM Watson Content Hub Essentials Edition (formerly IBM Watson Content Hub Base Instance)
  • IBM Watson Content Hub Standard Edition (formerly IBM Watson Content Hub Standard Instance)
  • Common part numbers available for asset storage and data transfer for all editions

As a result of the product restructuring and renaming, existing subscribers will not experience any impact to their existing entitlements or service. Upon contract renewal or update, contracts will include the new product structure. For more details, including complete product renaming information, see the Ordering Information section.

Watson Content Hub Essentials Edition

Watson Content Hub Essentials Edition provides a headless content management system that provides a web-based content authoring interface that allows organizations to leverage IBM Watson cognitive services to augment their content metadata. This edition also provides a set of REST APIs that developers can use to facilitate the integration of content with their customer applications, for example, mobile apps or Internet of Things solutions.

Watson Content Hub Standard Edition

Watson Content Hub Standard Edition includes all of the capabilities of Watson Content Hub Essentials Edition and adds the ability for organizations to define a website that can be published by Watson Content Hub. This edition includes capabilities organizations can use to manage a site layout, create and manage web pages, and manage website publication. Developers can create custom templates to apply their desired visual design to the published website.

Common part numbers available for additional asset storage and data transfer capacity

Each edition includes a specified amount of capacity for asset storage and data transfer. Additional capacity for any edition can be purchased by using a new, common set of part numbers. For details, see the Ordering Information section.

Description
Bottom rule

IBM Watson Commerce introduces a new, simplified product structure of core offerings, add-ons, and companions to clearly articulate how individual offerings relate to and are enabled for one another.

In the simplified product structure, many core offerings feature multiple editions. Organizations benefit by choosing an edition with the packaged set of features and volumes that match their requirements. When requirements change, organizations can opt to trade up to another edition. Add-ons to editions are an easy way to try out new features or add more volume. Companion offerings are standalone offerings that can be used in conjunction with core Watson Commerce offerings to provide new capabilities or to supplement existing functions.

Across Watson Customer Engagement, the goal of the new core, add-on, and companion offerings is to make it easier to explore, evaluate, and embrace offerings so that organizations can more easily realize their business objectives. Watson Customer Engagement includes offerings in the Watson Commerce, IBM Watson Marketing, and IBM Watson Supply Chain solution portfolios.

Accessibility by people with disabilities

A US Section 508 Voluntary Product Accessibility Template (VPAT) containing details on accessibility compliance can be found on the IBM® Accessibility website.

Statement of good security practices
Bottom rule

IT system security involves protecting systems and information through intrusion prevention, detection, and response to improper access from within and outside your enterprise. Improper access can result in information being altered, destroyed, or misappropriated or can result in misuse of your systems to attack others. Without a comprehensive approach to security, no IT system or product should be considered completely secure and no single product or security measure can be completely effective in preventing improper access. IBM systems and products are designed to be part of a regulatory compliant, comprehensive security approach, which will necessarily involve additional operational procedures, and may require other systems, products, or services to be most effective.

Important: IBM does not warrant that any systems, products, or services are immune from, or will make your enterprise immune from, the malicious or illegal conduct of any party.
