Detailed Description
This RPQ delivers all the additional safety items required to
| install a Power E980/E1080 above the current 29U limit.
The RPQ will deliver the following items:
Quantity of one (1) IBM PN 46G5947 - the 3 step Louisville ladder
Quantity of one (1) IBM PN 00E4866 on EC P07509 - the 4 step
Louisville ladder
Quantity of two (2) IBM PN 00RY618 - the hard hat
ORDERING INSTRUCTIONS
1 - Obtain approval for I-Listed RPQ # 8A2697.
2 - Generate a valid configuration.
3 - Manually edit the configurator output, adding RPQ 8A2697 and
the associated approval number to the order.
Prerequisites:
Prereqs:
This RPQ must be orderd when the client plans to install a system
above the 29U limit. A server Lift Tool (FC EB2Z) must also be
onsite in order to accomplish the installation, MES and service of
the system above the 29U limit. This RPQ should be ordered when
RPQ 8A2696 is ordered. This RPQ is only required to be ordered
once and can be reused when another system is to be installed
above the 29U limit in the client's data center
Limitations :
Only one of these RPQs needs to be ordered per data center when
systems are to be installed above the 29U limit, although the
| ladder and safety hats are required for every install above the
29U limit, these ladders and safety hats can be reused for each
install

The warranty terms for this RPQ assume the same warranty terms of
the machine in which it is installed for the remainder of the
Warranty period for such machine.
IBM will not be liable for any loss of, or damage to, the Customer's
records, or data, or for any lost profits, lost savings, incidental
damages, or other economic consequential damages, even if advised of
the possibility of such damages. In addition, IBM will not be
liable for any third-party claims against the customer for losses or
damages.
