Overview
IBM Financial Crimes Insight offers a solution that enables financial institutions to use analytics and cognitive capabilities to create:
- Accurate and sustainable AML programs
- Insurance claims investigation programs
- Employee conduct risk and trade surveillance programs
The solution provides users with more efficient and accurate alerts including surrounding contextual information and analysis to support and accelerate well-informed AML decisions. It reduces the time required to gather information by prepopulating customer details and automating much of the screening process. It goes beyond traditional rules-based alert detection, utilizing many prebuilt models that can be used in a variety of areas, such as conduct risk, market abuse, client suitability, and complaints.
IBM Financial Crimes Insight uses a cognitive accelerator to uncover previously unknown risks in business relationships and offers the following benefits:
- Optimization of systems and analysts
- Reduction of false positives and acceleration of investigations by using data from historical cases
- Ability to control understanding of entity and network risks
- Application of experienced-based machine learning
- Accelerated detection of insurance fraud for property and casualty claims, as well as medical provider invoices
