IBM® teams with third-party LogDNA for multicloud and on-premises logging solutions for IBM Cloud™ Pak offerings.

While cloud native technologies bring many benefits for microservices implementation, the use of microservices continues to present many challenges. LogDNA is a log management solution that is purpose-built to address many of those key challenges.

LogDNA is a centralized log management service that provides detailed insights into your production environment, enabling engineering and DevOps professionals to easily and quickly gather systems and application logs into one intuitive platform. This helps your organization to focus on driving transformation by building new products with microservices and IBM Cloud Paks.

LogDNA's full suite of log tools, including live streaming tail and filtering, coupled with flexible dashboarding, enables your teams to gain application and operational insights. Along with fast search, an intuitive query language, and smart alerts features, LogDNA:

  • Is optimized for modern container-based applications
  • Enables the collection and aggregation of data
  • Easily integrates with leading runtime environments
  • Features logging that supports and is compliant with GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2, HITECH, and PCI-DSS
  • Supports data sovereignty for log data to keep any sensitive data in the region of choice

LogDNA can be integrated with your IBM Cloud Pak to add log management capabilities. Log analysis with LogDNA provides administrators, DevOps teams, and developers with advanced features to filter, search, and tail log data, define alerts, and design custom views to monitor application and system logs.

Log analysis with LogDNA is operated by LogDNA in collaboration with IBM.
