Debugging Multiple PowerPC 476FP Cores with the JTAG TAP Controller
Related links: PowerPC 476FP Embedded Core

Application Note
IBM PowerPC® 476FP embedded processor cores can be grouped dynamically based on application requirements. This application note explains how to use the Joint Test Action Group (JTAG) test access port (TAP) controller to simultaneously debug multiple PowerPC 476FP processors within a group while processors in another group continue to perform their tasks. It also provides a sample JTAG_INLINE section of an IOSpeclist file, which is used to verify the PowerPC 476FP cores in the IEEE 1149.1 standard using the Cadence Encounter Test tool.
