We have users logged into production systems using the File Manager/DB2 COPY function to copy data from production down to a test system. It all works fine. However, the COPY function must require that FM/DB2 make inserts into a declared temporary table. These "inserts" are being flagged by our production audit process which shows users that are making updates in production. This is illegal in our shop. Currently the audit process looks at the plans and reports any USERIDs that are updating in production.

As part of the File Manager DB2 install, customers need to process DB2 binds. For several RESVOL sets, multiple systems can be IPL'ed from any of the sets of RESVOLs, or all the systems could be IPL'ed from one RESVOL set. The problem comes in when you switch from one RESVOL to another. You receive an -805 time stamp error when we use the File Manager for DB2. Because the File Manager loadlib is on the RESVOL set, it appears that they will have to rebind every DB2 system with every RESVOL set every time

I am trying to implement File Manager and am having trouble with CONTAINS. I try to use it like the book describes and it doesn't work. The problem seems to be with multiple 'needles'. If I use just one, it works fine. It appears that the example is trying to say that multiple 'needles' separated by a comma is an 'or' function. Is that right? I have found that if the CONTAINS spans multiple lines it fails and if it is all in one line it works. How should the following be coded to work, and where is it
