A second email address for a contact created in your Notes client does not appear in Domino Access for Microsoft Outlook after replication.

In Domino Access for Microsoft Outlook (version 8.0.2), there are some limitations when synchronizing contacts between DAMO and Domino Web Access (Lotus iNotes beginning in Domino version 8.5). Note that as a general rule, it is not recommended that a user use both the Notes client and the Outlook client for day to day e-mail and calendar functionality. For that reason, Notes is not addressed in this technote, but it is fair to assume that Notes and Domino Web Access may have similar results.

In Outlook, when you import a vCard file containing multiple contacts, only one contact is imported regardless of how many are in the vCard file.

DWA contacts stored in the $Contacts view of the mail file will replicate down to DAMO when a Send & Receive command is given. In the Notes client, with the mailfile open, select Actions > Synchronize Address Book to import contacts from the pnab into the $Contacts view of the mailfile.

When DAMO is installed with Microsoft Outlook, the personal contacts continue to be stored using the native Outlook mechanism. Personal contacts are not stored in the local Names.nsf. Therefore, name format/ordering must be done via Outlook.
