This IBM Redpaper describes a solution developed for IBM Tivoli Directory Integrator integration with the IBM event management offering products, IBM Tivoli Netcool/OMNIbus and IBM Tivoli Enterprise Console. This integration solution illustrates a scenario where Tivoli Directory Integrator can send EIF events to the IBM event management products. Along with examples, we discuss the architecture behind this approach. This document is divided into several sections.
