This IBM Redbook will help you plan, install, and configure the IBM Content Manager VideoCharger for Multiplatforms product on both Windows NT/2000 and AIX platforms. It covers the integration of VideoCharger with the IBM Content Manager. This redbook also provides a broad understanding of encoding video, using various codes and transport methods; discusses performance on both AIX and NT platforms; and provides some sample configurations. We look at performance related issues involved in planning and sizing a VideoCharger system. We explain how to implement a VideoCharger Server in an operational network acting with a firewall.
