When upgrading to Sun Java 6.0 update 15, update 16, or update 17, the IBM WebSphere Host On-Demand cached client and download client no longer loads in any browser. The Host On-Demand cached client stops loading even if the client is already installed on the client machine. The problem produces an exception in the java console: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError. The download client might also fail to load.
