APAR PK83534 allows the CICS Transaction Server for z/OS (CICS TS) V3.2 Service Flow Runtime (SFR) Feature to run on CICS TS V3.1. This means that if you are running CICS TS V3.1, you will now be able to exploit all the features of the V3.2 runtime. However to exploit these features some migration steps will be necessary.

There is a change in z/OS 1.9 which will affect any customer applications that use a custom listener transaction through the CICS Socket API. The code that locates the Listener Control Area (LCA) for the transaction will at least need to be recompiled using the updated EZACICA macro. New Function (NF) APAR PK35107 is for CICS® Interdependency Analyzer for z/OS® (CICS IA) V2.1. This APAR includes Global User exits to support collection in a CICS Transaction Server for z/OS V3.2 region. It also includes sample queries to assist in migration from previous versions of CICS TS. PK35107 closed on 19 June 2007. Without this APAR, you will receive message CIU1004E due to missing program definitions when running the installation verification procedure (IVP).
