JR43437 dsjob -wait behavior changed when Inactivity timeout is reached. The behavior of dsjob -wait or -jobstatus changed when the Inactivity timeout is reached. The original behavior for a job which ran longer than the Inactivity timeout was the "Error 81002 waiting for job" message wouldn't be returned to a script or the UNIX prompt until the job terminated. Now the error is returned as soon as the Inactivity timeout is reached. The original Inactivity timeout behavior from dsjob can be obtained by setting an environment variable in $DSHOME/dsenv. When DSE_SLAVE_CLOSE_SOCKET_ON_EXEC is set to 1, dsjob -wait or -jobstatus will not return with "Error 81002 waiting for dsjob" until the job has terminated.
