Welcome to the IBM Tivoli Identity Manager SAP UME Adapter for Windows & AIX.

			It is important that whenever you attempt to deploy the agent 
			you do so from a new project. If you have undeployed the agent 
			and wish to re-deploy it at a later date then you should not 
			use the same project as the last time it was deployed.  
			A brand new project should always be created.  
			If you attempt to use the Deploy Tool to deploy the agent from 
			an existing project rather than a new project then your entire 
			SAP system may be corrupted requiring it to be re-built from scratch.  
			This known SAP Netweaver issue is resolved in SAP WAS SP14.

			Activation install size incorrectly.

                        filter (erUid=<arbitrary_string>).

			membership displayed in ITIM since SAP UME user accounts are
			assigned group membership in the following groups by default:
				- EVERYONE

			If the group membership for a particular account becomes 
			inconsistent between ITIM and SAP then an appropriate warning 
			will be logged by the agent.  
			The data can be synchronized once again by using the agent to 
			perform a reconciliation.

6. SUPPORTED PLATFORMS
========================================================

The IBM Tivoli Identity Manager Adapter was built and tested on the following 
product versions.

Adapter Installation Platform:  
	Windows 2000 SP2 or later
        Windows 2003 with latest service pack
	AIX 5.2

Managed Resource:
	SAP EP6 SP11 on Windows 2000 and
	SAP EP6 SP9 on AIX 5.2
	SAP Netweaver 2004s AS Java 

ITIM Server:
	4.6

7. CONFIGURATION NOTES
======================================================
The adapter will perform logging during its operations.
See the IBM Tivoli Identity Manager SAP UME Adapter Installation Guide 
for detailed instructions on configuring logging.

To enable User Mapping for the Adapter, the System Aliases must be 
defined.  See the adapter's Installation Guide for detailed instructions 
on configuring and activating User Mapping.

7. DEPLOYMENT TIPS
======================================================
The adapter is deployed using the SAP Deploy Tool.  The instructions 
for the deployment process is included in the SAP UME Agent Installation
Guide.  

Please follow these instructions carefully! Do NOT attempt to deploy 
the new EAR from wihin an existing project.  Always deploy the adapter from a 
newly created project. See Known Issues for further details.
