Abstract

OSP-DB RETURN NULL ON NULL INPUT NOT WORKING CORRECTLY WHEN THE
UDF IS INLINED.

Error Description

RETURN NULL ON NULL INPUT not working correctly when the UDF is
inlined.                                                        
                                                               
MSGSQL0438 may be issued (but not limited to this message) if  
the UDF does not expect nulls and the system called the UDF    
with a null value.

Problem Conclusion

A null value was not handled correctly when inlining a UDF that
contains RETURN NULL ON NULL.  This problem has been corrected.
