Suppress message text in an email

You can specify specific message text that goes into the body of an email or you can have PSF use default text. You can also specify that no message text is to be added into the body of an email.

To specify that no message text be placed into an email, specify a value of *NONE any place that message text can be specified. The value *NONE must always be specified in uppercase.
  • PDF map entry. Specify *NONE for the message text.
  • User map program. Specify *NONE for the message text and 5 for the length of message text parameters.
  • Message PQT4133. Change the message portion of the message to contain the value *NONE. The message portion of PQT4133 begins at the 23rd character. Active writers must be ended and restarted to retrieve the latest text. This text will be used by all writers as the default subject and message text.
