Supported DDM file models
IBM® i DDM supports these DDM file models.
- Alternate index file (ALTINDF)
- Direct file (DIRFIL)
- Directory file (DIRECTORY)
- Keyed file (KEYFIL)
- Sequential file (SEQFIL)
- Stream file (STRFIL)
By using the above file models, the IBM i supports access to the IBM i physical and logical files. The following table shows how DDM file models and IBM i data files correspond.
