Remove Workload Group (RMVWLCGRP)

The Remove Workload Group (RMVWLCGRP) command removes a workload group for the current system or logical partition.

Product entries can be removed from a workload group by using the Remove Workload Product Entry (RMVWLCPRDE) command.

You can remove a workload group while active jobs and threads are referencing the group. Any jobs or threads that are associated with the group will not be limited to a subset of activated processors for the system or logical partition once the workload group is removed.

Workload group (WLCGRP)

Specifies the workload group being removed.

This is a required parameter.

Specify the name of the workload group.

Examples

RMVWLCGRP  WLCGRP(MYGROUP)

This command removes workload group MYGROUP from the system or logical partition. Any active jobs or threads associated with this workload group will be capable of running on all activated processors for the system or logical partition.
