The Reclaim APPN (RCLAPPN) command reinitializes the APPN tasks, the APPN internal data, and Enterprise Extender (HPRIP). It varies off APPN controllers and optionally ends active jobs before performing the reinitialize operations.
After this command is executed the APPN controllers must be varied back on before being used.
Restriction: The command is shipped with public *EXCLUDE authority.

Specifies the resources to be reinitialized.
This is a required parameter.
Single values
- *ALL
- All reinitialize operations are performed.
Other values
- *APPNTASKS
- The APPN tasks are reinitialized.

- The APPN tasks and internal data are reinitialized.
- *HPRIP
- The Enterprise Extender (HPRIP) Control Center task is reinitialized.

Forced vary off (FRCVRYOFF)
Specifies whether inquiry messages for active jobs will be issued.
This is a required parameter.
- *NO
- Inquiry messages for active jobs will be issued.
- *YES
- Inquiry messages for active jobs will not be issued and the jobs will be ended.
