SRC code A6xx 0277

When you see the A6xx 0277 SRC code in the control panel on the system or logical partition, select the appropriate compression reference code word for additional information.

The compression reference code word is either word 15 or word 17.

First, it indicates which operation was in progress. Second, it indicates whether the storage subsystem controller can obtain additional storage space on the system. This reference code word was formerly word 17 in the V4R4 release and in previous releases.
16	uuuu uuuu	This word describes the unit address of the disk unit.
17	BBBB ccbb	This word defines the bus, card, and board address of the disk unit.
