Document library services file system (QDLS)

The QDLS file system supports the folders structure. It provides access to documents and folders.

In addition, it:

  • Supports IBM® i folders and document library objects (DLOs).
  • Supports data stored in stream files.

Accessing QDLS through the integrated file system interface

The QDLS file system can be accessed through the integrated file system interface using either the IBM i file server or the integrated file system commands, user displays, and APIs.

In using the integrated file system interfaces, you should be aware of the following considerations and limitations.
