If you would like to see what media actually resides in your media library, you can issue the WRKMLMBRM command, and it will display all media currently existing in the media library. This works for both tape and optical media libraries and provides other useful information about the volumes themselves. From these screens you have many options, but most importantly you can enroll the media into the BRMS inventory by just taking option 1 next to any of the listed media.
