Take these steps to enable TSM automatic password management using the
BRMS System i® Navigator client.
- Double-click the System i Navigator icon on your desktop.
- Open a connection to the system from which you want to run the BRMS TSM
client.
- Right-click the Backup, Recovery, and Media Services folder.
- Click Manage Devices.
- Click TSM Connection Names on the Manage Devices Panel.
- Select the connection name on the Connection Names panel
which you want to enable for TSM password management.
- Click Password Management.
- Enter the current password for the connection name on the Password Management panel to authenticate the password management change.
- Select TSM manages password.
- Click OK.
- Repeat steps 6 through 9 for additional connections names that are to
use TSM password management.
- Click OK on the Connection Names panel.
- Click Close on the Manage Devices panel.
