krb5_generate_subkey()--Generate Subsession Key

Syntax

     krb5_keyblock **     subkey);

The krb5_generate_subkey() function generates a random subsession key that is based on the supplied session key.

Authorities

No authorities are required.

Parameters

context (Input): The Kerberos context.
key (Input): The session key.
subkey (Output): The generated subsession key. The krb5_free_keyblock() routine should be called to release the key when it is no longer needed.

Return Value

If no errors occur, the return value is 0. Otherwise, a Kerberos error code is returned.
